According to a statement by the Greater Manchester Police, at least 22 people have been confirmed dead and around 59 others were injured, in an explosion at the Manchester Arena on the night of 22 May at the end of a concert by US singer Ariana Grande. Police believe that the explosion, which is being treated as a terrorist incident, was carried out by a single man using an improvised explosive device (IED), who was confirmed dead at the scene. Američka pjevačica Ariana Grande preko svog Instagram računa objavila je kako će u Manchesteru održati humanitarni koncert za sve žrtve terorističkog napada u Manchesteru i njihove obitelji.
Bombaš samoubojica raznio se u manchester Areni u ponedjeljak nakon završetka koncerta Grande. Poginule su 22 osobe. Grande je otkazala nekoliko koncertata koje je trebala održati u Londonu i Europi.
Datum ovog humanitarnog koncerta još nije objavljen.
