Srpski predsjednik Aleksandar Vučić u utorak se sastao s višestrukim olimpijskim pobjednikom i rekorderom u sprinterskim atletskim disciplinama Usainom Boltom.
Na sastanku su bili i prvi potpredsjednik vlade i ministar financija Siniša Mali i direktor tvrtke “Ekspo2027” Beograd Dušan Borovčanin.
“Uzbuđen sam i sretan što mogu ugostiti Usaina Bolta u Srbiji, on je rekorder na 100 metara i nisam siguran da će itko ikad moći trčati brže. Čovjek je najbrži ikad! I ovih 19.19 bit će mu teško srušiti. Ne razmišlja o ograničenjima jer nikad nisu postojala. Mi smo se dogovorili da imamo više brend ambasadora. Želimo da Expo bude najveća manifestacija ikad na svijetu. Do sad imamo potvrđenih 115 zemalja, sa svih svjetskih kontinenata. Astana je imala 117 i to je rekord, očekujemo da imamo više od 135 zemalja, da oborimo sve rekorde i budemo najbolji svih vremena“, rekao je Aleksandar Vučić, prenosi Dnevni Avaz.
“Za nas je strašno važno da podignemo vidljivost Expoa, da vide kako i koliko Srbija napreduje. Postoje tri jezika za koje nam prevoditelji nisu potrebni, to su jezici igre, glazbe i sporta. Vjerujem da današnji dolazak Usaina Bolta i što sam imao prilike da kratko razgovaram sa njim… Sretan sam što je mogao vidjeti promenadu i da pred njim kažem koliko je za nas Expo važan. Expo je u ovom trenutku najveće gradilište u cijeloj jugoistočnoj Europi. Da lice cijele Srbije promijenimo, od izgradnje autoputa i brzih cesta. Promjena lica zemlje, promjena navika, da pokažemo da možemo biti uspješni kao najrazvijenije zemlje svijeta. Da se to građanima vrati, da budu ponosni na svoju zemlju. Da izgradimo najbolje stadione, parkove, da napravimo sve što je potrebno, da nas cijeli svijet vidi. A kud ćete bolje od najboljeg prvaka svijeta, Bolta. Imat ćemo još ambasadora, ali nitko kao Bolt, najbolji na svijetu, drugi mogu trčati još sto godina i ne mogu dostići velikog Bolta. Ne može, to majka jednom rodi. Hvala Usainu što je danas sa nama”, rekao je Vučić.
“Rekao mi je da je 11 mjeseci najtežeg treninga radio, i da je samo zato i uspijevao. Na nama je da radimo naporno i da uz ovakve prvake. Uvjeren sam da će imidž naše zemlje biti još bolji“, dodao je srpski predsjednik.
“Sve smo protokole ispoštovali. Za mene je ovo velika čast. Imam prijatelje iz vaše zemlje, za mene je velika čast, uzbuđen sam što ću moći predstaviti Expo cijelom svijetu”, rekao je Bolt.
