U nedjeljnim dvobojima 8. kola Bundeslige Hertha i Freiburg su odigrali 1-1, dok je Borussia Moenchengladbach pobjedom kod kuće nad Mainzom (4-0) i tri gola Hoffmana izbila na drugo mjesto.
Na vrhu su dvije Borusije – dortmundska vodi s 20 bodova, Borussia (M) ima 17 bodova, koliko i Werder, a Hertha šesta s 15 bodova. Freiburg i Mainz imaju po 11 bodova.
